We go to Greenland for the culture, the Canadian Arctic for the opportunity to spot elusive beluga whales and narwhals and the North Pole for, well, the North Pole itself! To experience the Arctic in a nutshell, brimming with quintessential scenery and wildlife, we go to Spitsbergen (which is conveniently close for those of us in Europe).
