Nestled on the banks of the Diphlu River, environmentally friendly Diphlu River Lodge is our first choice when visiting Kaziranga National Park.

The lodge offers accommodation for 24 guests at a time ensuring an exclusive experience. Made of bamboo and thatch, all cottages are air-conditioned with large beds, a spacious seating area and writing desk, and en-suite bathrooms. There are four semi-detached cottages and eight detached.
The eight individual cottages have a wide folding glass door opening onto a thatched verandah with cane day bed and inviting chairs, and overlook the Diphlu River and National Park, while at the rear a deck with sun loungers looks across farmland.
High above the river is the Machan (jungle platform). This has air-conditioned seating and dining areas opening onto a large verandah with high thatch ceiling and bamboo floor.
Jeep safaris in the park, Dolphin spotting boat trips, elephant bathing, village visits, Tea estate visits.
The lodge is located on the banks of the Diphlu River overlooking Kaziranga National Park in the heart of Assam. The nearest domestic airport is Tezpur around 90 minutes away. Their sister property Bansbari Lodge near Manas National Park along the Bhutanese border is a seven hour drive away.
