Ranchlands Camp offers a fully immersive experience in the world of a working cattle ranch. For generations, camping out has been an integral part of cattle ranching. Now, you have the opportunity to sleep out under canvas too. The camp is set up with six stylishly furnished tents for a maximum of 12 guests. The camp is available for set weeks during the months of May and June. Each week is themed, from horsemanship and branding to painting and drawing.
Born from a genuine love of the land, Brasada Ranch is a 1,800-acre resort in central Oregon that looks out on to breath-taking, uninterrupted and panoramic views of the Cascade Mountains. Its intimate, boutique-style rooms have been decorated in harmony with the surrounding nature, and some include private firepits and hot tubs. Boasting strong relationships with an array of local farmers and producers, Brasada Ranch offers three dining options that all echo the farm-to-table philosophy instilled by the Chef, who drives daily to his pick of farms, ranches, markets and wineries to select the freshest and most inspiring produce. One of the main draws to Brasada Ranch is its horseback riding and equestrian centre.
Brush Creek Ranch is a high-end lodge set in 30,000 acres of Rocky Mountain wilderness close to Saratoga, Wyoming. The ranch has 39 units designed and inspired by the original homestead. There are lodge rooms through to three-bedroom self-contained cabin residences, all furnished to a very high standard in the rustic style of the ranch. Five miles from the main ranch is a homestead with a separate lodge building and seven restored cabins, perfect for a large family or group of friends.

Chico Basin Ranch is a family run working cattle ranch, on 87,000 acres of high prairie in southeastern Colorado. The property has an intimate atmosphere and is aimed at experienced horse riders looking to learn and get an insight into modern ranch life. Accommodation is comfortable and simple, consisting of just two rooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room area.
Zapata Ranch is a 103,000-acre working bison and cattle ranch on the border of Great Sand Dunes National Park in Southern Colorado. It is a property for those looking to experience life on a working ranch with comfortable accommodation and good home-style food. The original 1800s’ ranch homestead is now the main lodge building housing a dining room and cosy sitting area. There are five lodge rooms, a Bunkhouse with five rooms and a separate five-bedroom house perfect for small groups or families. Hiking, fly-fishing, guided bird and wildlife watching are activities available at Zapata Ranch, and of course many horseback adventures including working and moving cattle or exploring the surrounding countryside. For those that want to learn and get involved, work alongside the wranglers and ranch staff on ranch projects.
Zion Mountain Ranch is located just outside Zion National Park in a spectacularly scenic setting. It is the closest lodging to the east gate of the park. From here it is possible to visit several other national parks including Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon and Lake Powell. The ranch is surrounded by 2,700 acres of high mountain meadows and forests where a herd of buffalo graze and roam. There are a selection of private self-contained cabins and lodges, all comfortably furnished and with views over the meadows, the grazing buffalo herd or the canyon. Some cabins come with private sauna or jacuzzi. Activities available include horse riding, canyoneering, mountain biking, fly fishing and hiking.
Mountain Sky Ranch sits on 8,000 acres of wilderness in Paradise Valley, close to Yellowstone National Park. Originally a working cattle ranch, the property diversified in the 1920s to welcome guests. A selection of one to three-bedroom cabins are scattered around the main lodge, with views of the surroundings. The majority of the log cabins have been beautifully restored from original buildings, each is unique and furnished to a high standard of rustic design.
Tucked away in the forests of Big Sky Montana, historic Lone Mountain Ranch was established in 1915 as a working cattle ranch. The ranch now offers a great year-round base to explore the Montana wilderness, with dramatic peaks and towering forests of spruce and aspen, to the endless streams and rivers that meander through this range.
Tanque Verde Ranch is a 60,000-acre ranch close to Tucson, Arizona. The desert landscape setting is close to the Rincon Mountains and Saguaro National Park. The accommodation has a Santa Fe style with traditional adobe walls. A selection of room types are available; some of which have desert and mountain views. Activities are endless at Tanque Verde Ranch, including guided hikes, biking, dancing, fishing, tennis, yoga and swimming in one of the pools. Children are well catered for with specific activities tailored for their needs and enjoyment.
The Home Ranch is a dude ranch in the Elk River Valley under the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The property consists of the main lodge building with six lodge rooms and eight separate cabins. All comfortably furnished in a rustic style with views of mountains, meadows and horses. The Home Ranch is a Relais & Chateaux property with gourmet food, much of which comes from the on-site organic farm.
