The majority of visitors to Greenland travel aboard expeditionary ships for a unique view of the country and the extraordinary seascape and coastline. While most hotels on the mainland are of a typical Scandinavian style; minimalist and simple, ironically a little luxury can be found out in the wilds too.
Base Camp Greenland

Located on the edge of Ilulissat Ice Fjord, Hotel Arctic is a more a typical hotel found in Greenland. However a quirky addition to their 85 rooms are five igloo rooms separate to the main hotel with their own boardwalk and fantastic views of the fjord.
