My travels were first inspired by my love of the UK, which I take as much pleasure in exploring as countries far and wide. For me, travel is all about the adventure, the people I meet and the food I sample along the way.

The Sahara desert is one of the world’s largest deserts and a magical landscape to explore.
A visit to the rolling dunes of the desert really does make a wonderful addition to a holiday and the already varied landscapes on offer in Morocco. This said, you should be prepared for long road trips – a visit to the deserts of Morocco can’t be done in a day.
Across the high Atlas Mountains lies the beginning of the Sahara Desert. The desert region can be accessed via a number of oasis towns and can either be enjoyed as a day trip, an overnight stay or for the more adventurous for a few nights.
We feel that the best way to experience the desert is to overnight, offering the chance to enjoy the desert landscape in all its glory – the panoramic views during the daytime, the silent star-studded sky at night and the magical colours at both at sunset and sunrise.
In order to offer the most authentic experience possible, we work with a number of small camps located in both remote desert and oasis surroundings.
For travellers with limited time or those who don’t want to drive the long distances to reach the Sahara, you can experience the peace and solitude of a desert environment, just 40 minutes from Marrakech. The Agafay Desert doesn’t offer the rolling sand dunes of the Sahara but if you are seeking a wild lunar landscape dotted with Berber hamlets and the odd wandering goatherd, can be explored. With the snow-capped Atlas Mountains in the distance, this desert landscape is easily reached for a day trip or one night.
