Boat on Dal Lake, Kashmir, India

Kashmir and Ladakh

A visit to Ladakh and Kashmir will take you to deep into Northern India, home to some of the most remote and sparsely populated regions on earth.

Ladakh, bordered by Tibet and surrounded by the mighty Himalayas, is a high-altitude region known for its elusive snow leopards, spectacular moon-like landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, and a captivating charm.

Connected via a thrilling drive over high mountain passes or by daily flights, Ladakh can be combined with the neighbouring region of Kashmir, known for its gardens, lakes, waterways, and houseboats. Often referred to as ‘heaven on earth,’ Kashmir is one of the most beautiful regions of India.
