Situated close to the gates of India’s ‘Secret Tiger Park’, this lodge has a monopoly on comfort. With well-equipped rooms and chunky mattresses, this lodge stands head and shoulders above the other lodges in this region.

In the evening you can lounge around, listen to the chefs beat naan onto the Tandori oven, watch wildlife films under the stars or take a night walk around the buffer zone of the park.

Facilities

Aside from comfortable accommodation, dining at Svasara Jungle Lodge is something worth getting up early for! Lunch is served in the dining room and evening supper is served in the outdoor “Teakhouse” complete with bonfire and documentary on a nightly basis. The food is outstanding. A must is a flatbread cooked to order. Please note Tadoba is a dry state so no alcohol can be served.

Resident naturalists are always engaging and converse passionately on a number of interesting topics affecting wildlife and conservation. The lodge now has a spa and swimming pool, ideal after a hot dusty day in the jungle.
