Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is tucked away on a rocky black outcrop overlooking the ocean with nearly 10 acres of rainforest, and 1,300 feet of waterfront on the doorstep ready to explore.

The hotel swimming and hot pools are carved into the face of the cliff to take advantage of the spectacular panoramic views. There are 70 lodge suites and 63 cottages beach home suites all nestled into the forest with each suite and cottage offering a balcony overlooking either the ocean or the forest.

There is no doubt, that Black Rock Oceanfront Resort boasts an extraordinary position, perched on a rocky headland overlooking the turbulent Pacific Ocean. In addition to its stunning setting, the creative architecture of the property further enhances its wild environment through the extensive use of steel, glass, wood and rock. Floor to ceiling windows throughout the property enhances dramatic views. We also like this property as it is extremely good value for money and just a five-minute walk into the centre of Ucluelet.

The Wickaninnish is a luxury hotel and spa on Chesterman Beach on the outskirts of Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. All of its 75 rooms offer wonderful views across Chesterman Beach and the ocean, not to mention deep soaker tubs and private balconies. The hotel’s circular Pointe Restaurant is nothing short of spectacular; its 240-degree outlook affords sensational views year-round. The hotel is also home to the Ancient Cedars Spa, offering natural treatments and therapies.
