Our specialists ‘Must Do’ in the Red Sea

It may seem obvious, but snorkel or scuba dive in the Red Sea. The water is clear and warm and the marine life is quite simply beautiful and in abundance. Ras Muhammad is a coral peninsula at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and is one of the most outstanding snorkelling and diving areas in the world. Be lucky enough to come face to face with tiger sharks and manta rays in the depths.

A little more about THE SINAI PENINSULA

The triangular peninsula known as the Sinai Peninsula, is bordered by the Mediterranean to the north and the Red Sea to the south and has long been in the forefront of many a battle. Today, it has some of the best hotels and infrastructure in Egypt.

Essentially the Sinai is a desert that has little evidence of much domesticity or inhabitants; the only known inhabitants are the Bedouin people, who have lived there for many years.

When to go to the Red Sea

The Red Sea is essentially a year round destination as the temperatures, although warm in summer months hitting the area of the mid-thirties, will feel cooler with the coastal breeze and inviting azure waters. The coolest months are between November and March when it still averages between 21 and 26 Degrees.
