Great Journeys

Great journeys provide us with curiosity, challenge and contrast that few other trips can. They are often based around history – for example, retracing the footsteps of an explorer – but can be themed on atmosphere, nostalgia or a sense of achievement.

Travel by car, by 4×4, or by train, following some of the worlds greatest scenic journeys. For those of you with the time, you can travel its length in one go, but most will prefer to do it in sections stopping along the way to explore the many sites of interest.

True romantics or explorers amongst you might want to arrange a ‘great journey’ yourselves but don’t underestimate the time it takes and the difficulty of sewing the disparate threads of such a journey together. Our experts and contacts can arrange opportunities that are simply not available to independent travellers. More to the point they are here to help as back up, should things not go to plan – always a possibility on a long and involved journey.
