Croatia Holidays

A blue-green expanse of awe-inspiring sights and sites. Dubrovnik, in particular – with its eye-catching Venetian architecture and mazy cobbled streets – is the perfect base for your itinerary.

For the moment Croatia is more reminiscent of Ibiza in the 70s before it became trendy and expensive.

For those that want to party all night, the hot spots of Pag, Hvar and Primosten will not disappoint and yet if that is your idea of hell on earth, then the quiet coves of another thousand islands will provide total solitude. Good hotels are still relatively few and far between, but they are coming. Discover it now.

What to expect on your Croatia holiday

From the slopes of the beautiful mountains which provide limited but respectable skiing in winter and which are carpeted by wildflowers in spring, down to the three hundred miles of rocky coastline, Croatia is a holiday paradise. To date, only sixty-six of the thousand-plus islands are inhabited, but more will follow.

Why we like it

Each island is indented with sublime coves, perfect for swimming and snorkelling and invariably there is a restaurant closeby serving a simple selection of fresh fish or barbequed lamb. While Dubrovnik is probably the most famous town, the coast and islands support a number of smaller versions which, dating back to the late 16th century, are complete with Venetian architecture and original cobbled streets. Absolutely gorgeous.

Katie Benden

The excitement of travelling the world has always hugely appealed. Largely cemented from my first solo trip to Egypt and the Middle East. The crazy hustle and bustle of Cairo was a huge assault on the senses, scrambling through the claustrophobic tunnels of the Great pyramid took me out of my comfort zone and I was left humbled by the warm hospitality of the Nubian people in Aswan as we shared dinner together.

Having travelled to different parts of the world over the years it never ceases to amaze me how you constantly learn and evolve from the adventures you experience. I adore working in an environment where I can share my passion for the world and discuss fascinating stories both from my experiences and that of our clients. In the past year I’ve delved into the wintery beauty of St Petersburg, trekked through the colourful desert in Jordan and sailed down the iconic Nile in Egypt.
