Lairds Lodge is a gorgeous country house on a large country estate, perfectly positioned between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay along the Garden Route. This gracious Cape Dutch style homestead is surrounded by manicured gardens and lawns with plenty of indigenous fynbos, wide open spaces and distant mountain views.
With 16 high ceiling, elegant rooms spread around the property, Lairds Lodge maintains an air of tranquillity and relaxation. The main house keeps tradition alive with its reed ceiling in the 32-seater restaurant where a gourmet, four course dinner is served every evening.
The hotel offers easy access to close encounters with whales and dolphins or walking with Elephants. Hiking the Robberg Marine & Nature Reserve, golfing at one of the superb courses, Monkyland, Birds of Eden, Teniqwa cheetah's or sunbathing and swimming on one of the pristine beaches.
Why we like it
Living is easy at Lairds with attentive staff and great food. The location is a real hit as it is so close to all the things you will want to do along the garden route. We like this hotel as there are so many likeable things and it offers great value for money.
