Villa Sola Cabiati

The 18th-century neoclassical Villa Sola Cabiati was once the summer home of Milan's Duke Gabrio Serbelloni, and is now owned by the noble Sola Cabiati family. Ranked high on the list of the area's most breathtaking properties, it has also cultivated an air of mystery, with its frescoed walls, lush gardens, and museum-quality furnishings.

Largely inaccessible to the public for decades, Villa Sola Cabiati is now being managed by the five-star Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The historic villa makes a natural pair with the hotel, which has been a family-owned fixture on Lake Como's shores since 1910. The villa can only be rented in its entirety for up to 12 people, ensuring the kind of privacy Lake Como's royal residents and noble visitors have enjoyed for centuries.

Why we like villa Sola Cabiati

Until recently this magnificent villa was only available for private use, but now the Grand Hotel Tremezzo has opened the doors of this noble residence exclusively to its guests. Now you can discover the hidden aristocratic spirit of Lake Como.  Possibly the most romantic spot in Italy, Villa Sola Cabiati invites residents to live like Italian nobility. The residence is perfectly suited to romantic dinners, landmark celebrations and spectacular parties in this lakefront luxury.
