Leopard Trails Camp

Leopard Trails offer bespoke tented safaris in Wilpattu and Yala National Parks. Set in beautiful areas of land bordering the parks, the Leopard Trails Camps sit under a naturally shaded canopy formed by the lush greenery.

Safari enthusiasts return to Leopard Trails for the guides, who are tirelessly passionate about sharing their knowledge of the wilderness.

Each of the large, spacious tents has its own private en-suite bathroom and shower. In front of the tents, pairs of chairs sit under patches of shade - perfect for relaxing during the heat of the day. Meals and drinks are served in a communal dining tent, whilst the area is lit by hurricane lanterns and a large campfire at night. Although in the jungle, there are touches of luxury, with a fully stocked bar, handmade soaps, butler service and a connoisseur selected wine list, to complement the gourmet curries.

Families at Leopard Trails

The Leopard Trails Mini Ranger Course opens a whole new world to young explorers. The program takes place during game drives and around the camp, with short walks, which include tracking animals, a cosmic star safari, learning bush survival techniques, game-spotting competitions and it concludes with a nature quiz and a Ranger’s Test. On completion of the course, these proud achievers are awarded certificates to recognise their new-found knowledge and accomplishments.

Leopard Trails are located in both Wilpattu and Yala National Park.
