A cloudy, tangy and sweet mixture that is sure to captivate the tastebuds in the same way that its native Peru connects with all of the senses.

Peru’s national drink is a delightful partner to the breathtaking views offered in the capital of Lima. Each sip is interrupted by the beautiful architecture and cool ocean views. For me, it is an incomparable match of flavour and culture.

Method

  1. Take the Pisco, lime juice and sugar syrup, pour into a mixing glass and shake.
  2. Top up with the egg white and some ice. Shake it a little more.
  3. Strain into two glasses.
  4. Dot the surface with a few drops of the Angostura bitters.
  5. Garnish with a sliver of lime and serve.

Recipe Ingredients

Pisco: 50ml
Lime juice: 50ml
Sugar syrup: 50ml
Egg white: 1
Angostura bitters: Just a few drops
Lime slices: 1-2
