Colina Verde

This secluded beach villa sits atop a small rise, on the remote Machangulo Peninsula. Encircled by lush vegetation that coats the hillside, Colina Verde is aptly named - meaning "green hill" in Portuguese.

Private and exclusive, this impressive property looks out towards the Indian Ocean, where the sea's azure waters are met by the peninsula's white sands. Wooden verandas, scattered with seating areas, fringe the house. At the front, a beautifully positioned swimming pool is seamlessly integrated into the design.

Up to 18 people can be accommodated within Colina Verde's spacious interior, making it ideal for extended family groups. Individually decorated rooms employ the same relaxed, beachside style that is present throughout the house; soft colours mix wonderfully with weathered woods.

Colina Verde is perfectly positioned for exploring the Machangulo Peninsula, but is also remarkably accessible. The villa can be reached by boat, plane or helicopter and is just a short distance from Maputo.

The idyllic location also makes Collina Verde perfect for exploring the surrounding landscapes – both above and below the water. Available activities include excursions to the Maputo Special Reserve, snorkelling, fishing, hiking, dhow trips to Inhaca Island and tennis on a private tennis court.
