Tailor-Made Holiday

Indonesia - Private Raja Ampat Cruise on Mantra

Sail the spectacular islands of Raja Ampat

8 days

from £3,500pp (excluding flights)

Charter your own private yacht with friends or family and embark on a 7-day adventure around the tropical paradise of Raja Ampat, a series of stunning remote islands in Indonesia.

  • Dive amongst the coral slopes of the Kri peninsula
  • Walk up the green peaks of Wayag, offering one of the best panoramic views of Raja Ampat
  • Trek to the waterfalls on Batana and swim in the pool below
  • Snorkel and explore one of the remote islands of the archipelago

Raja Ampat is as remote as you get - closer to West Papua than anywhere else. The name translates as ‘Four Kings’ referring to the four main islands of Salawati, Batanta, Waigeo and Misool, which are in turn surrounded by approximately 1,500 wild islands with pristine beaches and sheer limestone cliffs plunging into aqua seas.

Above water, the islands’ cultural heritage is diverse, with prehistoric cave paintings and relics from the era of the Four Kings who once ruled here. Intrepid visitors can trek through the jungle, learn about traditional kampong life in local villages, visit a sea turtle rookery and explore the coastal mangroves by sea kayak.

Raja Ampat remains one of the last untouched corners of the earth and makes for a magical trip for anyone looking to get away from it all and relax in a naturally beautiful environment.

Why cruise Raja Ampat?

Raja Ampat is an archipelago made up of over 1,500 islands, many of which are incredibly remote, so a cruise is by far the best way to get the best experience. A private charter on a yacht like Mantra is perfect for family holidays or a group of friends travelling together. Set your own agenda and itinerary and sail with your crew on a private adventure.
