Msambweni Beach House is very much a Swahili home, standing on a high cliff, in beautiful grounds on the edge of a 700ft private beach, beyond which lie four miles of white sand, swaying palm trees and the warm Indian Ocean.
The spacious main house has 3 master bedrooms, reached along narrow stairs and ornate wooden doors, all of which open out into rooms with four poster beds and simple, whitewashed interiors, leading out to a private veranda overlooking the pool below.
Downstairs there is a relaxed bar, where cushions add a splash of colour and plenty of hidden spaces where meals can be taken, if not eating out on the shady pool area. A small fire pit overlooking the beach is the perfect place for pre (or post) dinner drinks, before settling down to some of the freshest seafood, Swahili dishes and the most delicious Belgian and French cuisine, reflecting the owners heritage.
In addition to this, there are 3 private villas in the grounds, offering complete privacy for couples or small families, all offering the same Swahili style, with hidden gardens and sunny private pools taking advantage of the spectacular views from the cliffs, perfect for a spot of indulgence.
