The resort is located on one of the 27 paradise islands in the Karimunjawa archipelago. Covered by coconut trees and surrounded by white sandy beaches.The resort offers fantastic diving and snorkeling for all sorts of divers from novice to very experienced.

Fringing reefs, atolls, wrecks and an excellent variety of different species makes diving in Karimunjawa an unforgettable adventure.Kura Kura is not only a divers paradise, its a perfect place for a romantic and relaxed Robinson Crusoe hide out, Beach front bungalows and private pool villas, all fully air conditioned with satellite TV, hot water and minibar, just footsteps away from the white sandy beach.

Location

Situated between Java and Borneo, and still unknown to mass tourism, Karimunjawa Archipelago is a National Marine Park composed of 27 islands which still offers the feeling of a natural and remote beauty. The exceptional location of Kura Kura Resort places guests in the midst of the Archipelago on an island called Menjawakan, giving guests the opportunity to visit and enjoy the rare beauty of the surrounding islands with their pristine white, unspoiled beaches fringed with palm trees, and the amazing colours of the sea while staying in rare comfort. 

Facilities

Kura Kura Resort offers 20 spacious and luxurious Pool Villas (320 sq mt) including 2 family Pool Villas (600 sq mt) settled among the beautiful Royal palm trees, and 15 Cottages.

Resort facilities offer speed boats with 2 engines for transportation and excursions, plus the charming and elegant 'Elisabeth' Grand Banks boat at guests' disposal, a dining menu which provides local food and seafood with Mediterranean style, landscaping and water purification treatment system.

There is a Sunset Lounge and Blue Bar on the Eastern Beach. 

Kura Kura Resort remains open from Apr 1st until Nov 30. From May 1st until Oct 31st they provide regular scheduled flights and speed boat transfers. During the month of April and November the Resort can only be reached by public ferries.
