Staying a classic aluminium Airstream trailer, you will travel in the company of an expert private guide with a 4×4 vehicle and have the luxury of a professional chef on hand who will prepare memorable al fresco dishes. The Salar de Uyuni is the largest and highest salt flats in the world, and you will have the unique vantage point of standing in the middle of this epic landscape with nothing but brilliant white salt as far as the eye can see.

When to travel

Bolivia in January

November to March is summer and wet season in Bolivia. The salt flats often have a layer of water over the top of them, which can make for stunning photographs. However the Altiplano still does not receive much rainfall, it is the Amazon and lowlands that become very wet. Roads can become impassable so river travel is a better option. Temperatures are a little higher across the country.
