The area from Hue to Nha Trang in the Central and South Central Coastal regions of Vietnam offers the countries best beaches. Miles of coconut palm-fringed beaches, glistening seawater, dotted with quaint fishing villages.
For a remote experience, the North Central coast offers continuous sandy beaches but the seas can be quite ferocious here so it’s great for walking but not so brilliant for swimming. Halong Bay has plenty of smaller beaches, the majority of them are quite rocky and shallow making them better suited to kayakers than sun worshippers. Vietnam’s beaches, coupled with the culture of the country make a perfect and yet unusual beach holiday destination.
