Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and offers an intoxicating mix of sights, sounds and smells which are often enticing and overpowering.

A visit to Kathmandu City is a rewarding and exciting experience, but go prepared for a busy and hectic developing destination.

The old town of Kathmandu offers many delights and has a developing cultural and artistic quality. Walking through the back streets, visitors can explore the hidden temples overflowing with bright coloured flowers and the unchanged workshops and courtyards.

Explore Patan and Bhaktapur

No visit of Kathmandu would be complete without visiting Patan and Bhaktapur. Sitting in the Kathmandu Valley, their intricate architectures reflect their Hindu origins. Take an early morning flight along the Himalayas where, on a clear day, you will see Everest or spend two or three days river rafting on one of the valley’s many rivers.
