Pacific Yellowfin is a characterful heritage vessel, perfectly designed for private charter. Lovingly restored, she combines a strong sense of maritime history with modern touches, thoughtful service and exceptional guiding.

At 114 feet in length and accommodating up to 12 guests across four ensuite cabins that can be configured to suit families or small groups, she offers an exciting and highly personalised way to explore British Columbia. Shared spaces include a galley kitchen and bar, a central saloon and a fantail deck with panoramic views, both with space to dine together. The atmosphere on board is relaxed yet refined – a blend that allows guests to feel at home while discovering this wild coastline.

Activities

Adventures aboard Pacific Yellowfin are as active or relaxed as you like. Guests can fish, kayak, snorkel or paddleboard, or enjoy water skiing and trampolining right off the boat. On land, guided mountain biking and hiking routes open up the forests and ridgelines, while scenic helicopter flights offer an unforgettable perspective on the coast’s peaks and glaciers.

Where does Pacific Yellowfin cruise?

Based on the west coast of British Columbia, Pacific Yellowfin journeys through some of Canada’s most pristine and wildlife-rich waters. Her routes span from the sheltered Gulf Islands off Washington State to the remote coastline of Prince Rupert, near the Alaskan border, with itineraries shaped around the seasons. This is a region defined by old-growth forests, glacier-fed inlets, wild bears and a sense of true remoteness – a perfect setting for a deeply immersive, nature-focused voyage. We would suggest 5 nights minimum to get the most out of these wild regions, and allow time to experience the abundance of activities Pacific Yellowfin offers.

Sustainability

Sustainability is central to life on Pacific Yellowfin. The crew partners with local conservation groups and follows Whale Wise Guidelines to ensure wildlife is observed responsibly. Encounters take place by kayak or small boat to reduce disturbance, and certified bear guides lead respectful land-based experiences. The team also works closely with local First Nations communities and sources ingredients locally, with a focus on sustainable and ethical produce.
