A charming 138-foot-long steel-hulled catamaran that accommodates up to 24 passengers in 12 spacious and comfortable cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom, Cascadia was purpose-built for luxury cruising.
With a shallow hull that allows her to explore the most remote passages, there is nothing quite like Cascadia currently operating on the British Columbian coast. There is a cosy lounge area to relax after a day of adventures, a dining area serving up fresh delicacies from the Pacific Coast and an outside terrace that can be used for al fresco dining on warm evenings or for morning coffee. All itineraries include guided excursions by zodiac or on shore, and the more adventurous can take to the waters in a kayak for a close encounter with marine life.
Cascadia is an extremely attractive catamaran which was specifically built for high-end leisure cruising, and it shows. In addition to the well-proportioned cabins, the communal areas are large and welcoming. The standout area is the outdoor terrace which provides a fantastic location for alfresco dining on temperate days. There is also ample space around the outer deck walkways and an open bridge, with a dedicated viewing area giving passengers a 180-degree view.
The west coast of British Columbia is undoubtedly extraordinary, in terrain, wildlife and culture. To cruise this region on a small expedition vessel is a privilege and one of the best ways to encounter all it has to offer. In small groups of no more than 12, accompanied by local expert guides and expedition leaders, you will have the opportunity to view this precious region from the boat, but also from shore.
Cascadia’s itinerary offers one of the best routes through the inside passage and Haida Gwaii. You will visit coastal communities, embark on rainforest and beach walks as well as navigate smaller tributaries by zodiac (shore boats). There will also be the opportunity to kayak, forage, fish, hike and of course view wildlife which may include bald eagles, whales and bears.
Cascadia operates along the coast of British Columbia and Haida Gwaii Islands.
