Why we like Mutum Expeditions
Based on the Sao Lourenco River, this liveaboard boat has been specifically designed for wildlife watching. Head to the upper deck to watch the sunset and peer out at the water below, enjoy a barbecue on the deck and take in the panoramic views of the Pantanal from the dining room. There are eight twin cabins on board, approximately six metres squared in size, all with air conditioning and private shower facilities.
Activities
Two daily excursions provide plenty of opportunity to search for the Americas’ largest and most powerful feline. Bird watchers will delight in the opportunity to see colonies of egrets, spoonbills and storks. Spot alligators, capybaras, monkeys and playful otters, who are more than willing to be the star of your photos. No immersion into the nature and culture of the Pantanal is complete without learning about the people that call it home. Visit an authentic fishing village for the chance to experience the hospitality and lifestyle of the locals.
