Built in 1931, The Imperial Hotel is known for its contemporary colonial style.

With high ceilings, impeccable decor and equipped with all the facilities and modern conveniences, the luxury accommodation of 190 rooms and 43 suites are designed with distinct interiors and overlook the verdant gardens.

Restore your energy at the award-winning spa and stretch out in the large swimming pool. The South-East Asian cuisine at the award-winning Spice Route restaurant is a must-do when in town.

An absolute favourite that we have used for years. The Imperial Hotel isn’t somewhere you just come to stay the night, a stay here is a total experience.

Facilities

There are four room categories and four suite categories. We recommend staying in a Heritage Room category or higher as some of the lead in room categories have restricted natural light as they face an internal atrium (Deco Room). For a special occasion consider the Royal Imperial Suite.

The hotel is home to award-winning restaurants with a culinary palette that ranges from South-East Asian at The Spice Route (top ten restaurants in the world by CNT), multi-cuisine all-day dining at 1911, Pan Indian at Daniell’s Tavern to Italian at San Gimignano, the dining experience is truly impeccable.

Restore your energy at the award-winning Imperial spa. There is also a salon and a tennis club. There is a large outdoor swimming pool.

Solo Female Travellers – The Imperial was the first hotel in India to introduce the Eliza Experience dedicated to solo female travellers. There is a single ladies corridor where all the bedrooms on this corridor are serviced by female-only staff for round the clock service. All phone calls are screened before being connected to each room. Also, there are special touches included such as elegant linens, bathrobes and upholstery.
