Kasbah Tamadot

Kasbah Tamadot is a luxury mountain hotel, owned by Sir Richard Branson, located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, approximately one hour from Marrakech. With the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains forming a stunning backdrop, views from the hotel stretch across steep river valleys towards forested mountains.

Why we like Kasbah Tamadot

The Eve Branson Foundation supports several local craft workshops who sell their wares in the on-site gift shop. 30% of the profits go back to the community. Within the hotel, little touches make a difference such as a free minibar, complimentary leather slippers and a lovely candle in the bathroom.

Facilities

Set in extensive gardens, the hotels 28 rooms and suites all individually decorated using traditional Moroccan antiques and furnishings. All of the suites have either a terrace or balcony. For those of you looking to switch off from the world with extra privacy, consider staying in one of the 10 luxury Berber Tents (adults only), with their own private deck, five of which also have their own sunken pools. Additional facilities include an indoor pool and a beautiful large outdoor infinity pool (heated), tennis courts, table tennis, a fully equipped gym, the Asonfou Spa complete with a traditional hammam.

The hotel has a maze of courtyards and private areas to sit and read or just chill out, all very different and very tasteful.

Children are welcomed at Kasbah Tamadot during specific dates including April, May half term, July and August, October half term and Christmas holidays. The property is small and intimate and doesn’t provide the traditional format of the kids club however they can tailor activities to suit children aged 12 and under. Children under six can stay for free when sharing an adult’s room and this will include breakfast, soft drinks and ice cream throughout the stay!

Enjoy a Morrocan themed Treasure Hunt.
Meet the Mules, Paprika and Parmesan; and Pickle and Pumpkin the resident camels, and three donkeys, Pudding, Plum and Peaches.
Take a splash in the pool party – inflatable toys provided.
