Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp

Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp is situated at the confluence of two tributaries of the Haonib River in the north-west of Namibia at the edge of the Skeleton Coast National Park and the Palmwag Game reserve.

The camp is located in an arid wilderness where the hardy, desert-adapted wildlife come to have access to resident water sources.

Due to its isolated location, Haonib is only accessible by light aircraft. On arrival at the small, seven-bedroom camp, the feeling of remoteness becomes apparent. However, the food is fresh and well prepared and comfort is not spared.

Daily game drives and walks highlight the beauty of the area and professional guides unlock the secrets of the fauna and flora which call it home. A scenic flight towards the coast offers an eagle-eye view of the massive seal colonies, salt lakes and shipwrecks.
