Aman Sveti Stefan is located on the small island peninsula of Sveti Stefan in Monte Negro. The island is linked by a causeway which leads to pink sand beaches, crystal clear waters and rugged pine mountainsides.
This high-end, village-style resort and the standalone Villa Milocer on the mainland, is walking distance from the Praskvica Monastery and a short drive or sail from Budva Old Town. The luxe one- and two-bedroom suites and cottages in stone buildings have stylish, contemporary decor along with features such as stone walls, beamed ceilings, living rooms with fireplaces and private pools. They come with free Wi-Fi and state of the art technology. Amenities include two restaurants and an antipasti bar on a central piazza plus a chic Aman spa with spectacular cliff top pools.
Why we like Aman Sveti Stefan
Great for families, spa-lovers and romantics alike. The island is pedestrianised and restricted to residents only, giving a real sense of privacy and exclusivity.
There are 50 rustic island cottages and suites and a further eight suites in the nearby Villa Milocer. For families, we recommend the Two Bedroomed Grand Suite which has plenty of outside terrace space. The Aman is home to three swimming pools, a spa and has access to three beaches spanning two kilometres. The island, being vehicle free is great for families. Informal lunches and dinners are offered at The Beach Café and The Olive Grove.
- A range of dining venues are available, shared between the island and Villa Milocer including Arva which specialises in Italian cuisine
- 1600-foot spa including yoga and pilates studio, gym and indoor pool
- Private access to the secluded Queen’s Beach on the mainland, a 10-minute scenic coastal walk away
The region is home to a series of ancient towns and natural wonders. The town of Budva is close by. Further along the coast is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kotor. There are numerous family-run vineyards offering wine tasting experiences.
The closest airport is Tivat, 40 minutes away by car. Alternatively, you can reach Aman Sveti Stefan from Dubrovnik airport in two hours.
Please note the island accommodation is seasonal and operates from 1 May to 15 October. Villa Milocer and the Aman Spa remain open year-round.
