Cape Town

Lying immediately beneath Table Mountain, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, a true melting pot of diverse cultures with a fascinating past.

The central city is packed full of quirky roads to explore and the Victoria & Albert Waterfront offers mainstream shopping with a great harbour.

Restaurants here are world-class, with a fusion of cuisines from fresh seafood to Cape Malay, complimented by incredible wines from the Cape Winelands nearby. To the south of the city are the picturesque golden beaches of Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps Bay. Friendly and welcoming, Cape Town is a city you can’t help but love.

Illona Cross

Born in a small South African town, I have always followed my passion for nature and discovery. After studying Nature Conservation in Pretoria, I was one of the first women to complete a very tough cadetship in the Natal Parks Board. It was here where I cut my teeth in African wildlife management.

Chris Johnston

25 years ago, my first trip to Africa took on a life of its own. I planned for three months, I stayed for two years. Whilst there, I was mistaken for a priest, attacked by sharks and arrested. Yet the countless, clattering journeys opened my eyes to the beauty of the landscapes and the grace of the people. My recent trips are undoubtedly more comfortable, but the welcome is as warm as ever and the best experiences are still those I never see coming.

An excellent holiday well organised with personal help from Illona. Always available to answer my questions. Everything worked like clockwork whilst in South Africa.

The itinerary put together was excellent and surpassed our expectations. The last-minute pre-trip call from Bridget to make sure we had everything and for us to ask about any last-minute queries was welcome and very reassuring.
