With its superb setting and sweeping views over the stunning Phobjika Valley, this lodge offers an excellent base to explore this beautiful area. Drawing its inspiration from the traditional, rural Bhutanese architecture, the lodge was designed and decorated using interiors and furnishings to showcase the vibrant local culture.
The focal point of the lodge is the informal lounge and dining space with comfortable sofas set around open fires, alongside wall to ceiling views of the lush valley below. The twelve beautifully appointed guest rooms also each have their own fireplace. Friendly, engaging staff ensure your stay is memorable.
Why we like Gangtey Lodge
For its stunning views over the remote Phobjikha valley, home to the black-necked cranes. This is the heart of Bhutan.
After a few long days of travel enjoy a hot stone bath (large enough for two) and massage. Enjoy the evenings at the lodge with warm blankets and neck warmers sat by the outdoor fireplace whilst admiring the valley views.
The Farmhouse Suites, complete with fireplace and heated floors create a home from home cosiness.
During your stay, there is a wide range of spa treatments available in the comfort of your room.
Gangtey Lodge acts as a luxurious base for a series of half or full day adventures and excursions.
