There is a wide assortment of cultural and natural attractions nearby, including museums, nature parks, coffee plantations, hot springs, and exciting hikes. Hacienda San Lucas reflects the gentle charms of the picturesque town of Copan Ruina, where many are content to sit and simply enjoy watching the townsfolk pass by, and listening to the local musicians.

La Casa Rosada is located in Copan Ruinas, just two blocks from central park and less than a mile from the magnificent archaeological site, where the legacy of the Maya can be found. La Casa Rosada is a Spanish colonial-style inn, decorated with antiques and local fine art. This hotel has five nicely decorated rooms. Every room has a private bath with a steam shower, television, CD/DVD player, telephone, and air conditioning.

Located in the heart of the tranquil town of Copan Ruinas, the Marina Copan Hotel overlooks the attractive central square. This was the first hotel to be built in the area and was constructed on the site of a former colonial home. Over the years, the hotel has played host to generations of Maya enthusiasts. The 40 charming rooms are decorated in a graceful colonial style. There is a pool, an international restaurant and a bar that regularly hosts live marimba music.
