Dr George McGavin

Dr George McGavin is a British entomologist, author, academic, television presenter and explorer. He is an Honorary Research Associate at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History and a Research Associate of The Department of Zoology of Oxford University.

A fellow of the Linnean Society and of the Royal Geographical Society, George also has several insect species named in his honour.

A regular presenter and broadcaster across UK and US television and radio including the BBC and The Discovery Channel, plus he was chief Scientific Consultant for the David Attenborough series Life in the Undergrowth.
