Why we like it
We love Tweedsmuir for its warm hospitality, but most notably, for its exceptional bear viewing. The different ways to observe the bears are an experience in themselves. Guests can safely track bears through the forest on foot with an experienced guides or enjoy scenic float trips on the Atnarko, a pristine glacier fed river where bears can be seen feasting upon spawning salmon. Alternatively the wildlife viewing platform located near the lodge is an excellent spot and is for the sole use of lodge guests.
