A twin-island paradise offering two unique experiences. The larger main island offers sprawling beach villas set in lush gardens, with most of the resort’s 12 restaurants found on this side of the bay, too.
Just across the water, and connected by a bridge, is the smaller, more private of the two, which has those over-water villas we imagine when we think of the Maldives. The property feels wonderfully remote. There are long stretches of sandy beach where, even in high season, you might not glimpse anybody else. For diving and snorkelling enthusiasts, large coral reefs full of glittering fish are just a short boat ride away.
The island suits all manner of tastes and preferences. BBQ on the beach or splurge on an underwater dining experience or simply reconnect with nature at the Spa Retreat or dive with the manta rays. The whale sharks are a reason alone if you want to dive here.
Discover three distinct villa locations spanning across the atoll that makes up Conrad Maldives Rangali and Rangalifinolhu islands. Choose beach or over-water hideaways or seek peace in the spa retreat. The Rangallifinolhu island is the livelier of the two, home to the kids club and the majority of the restaurants. Rangali Island is for those looking for a laid-back lifestyle and offers holistic health therapies including a resident yoga instructor. The Spa Retreat can be found off the tip of the islands and offers a world-class spa, an award-winning organic Mandhoo Spa restaurant, and the utopian Spa Villas – complete with private double treatment rooms and whirlpools in blissful seclusion, for the spa junkies amongst us who prefer to be on the doorstep.
Luxury villas and suites are sprinkled across two islands with a choice of beach water or spa locations. The beach villas are located on Rangalifinolhu Island, where you can step directly onto the beach, perfect for a family escape. Opt for a Deluxe beach villa if you desire more privacy with a private plunge pool. The two larger Beach Suites on the same island offer spacious living.
The award-winning Water Villas can be found on Rangali island. This is a stunning location for honeymooners. Please note the sun terrace has stairs going directly into the Indian Ocean and therefore suits adults best. However, there is a family water villa featuring two separate bedrooms ideal for older children.
Muraka, the world’s first and only underwater suite is located on Rangali Island – available upon request. This is a first of its kind in the Maldives. The undersea residence gives guests an intimate and immersive experience of one of the Earth’s most breathtaking marine environments. Lie in bed with an unobstructed view of the ocean at every turn. The Muraka is a two-level residence both above and below the ocean. The undersea bedroom, living space and bathroom are below the waves whilst the entertainment spaces are above. With a dedicated team of butlers and staff, this is a thrill seeker must do.
The impressive main pool is designed with kids in mind on the family island of Rangalifinolhu, with a sand-floored Rangali Bar to keep with the beach vibe here. There is an additional adult-orientated infinity pool on Rangali Island and The Quiet Zone, a dedicated adult-only chill out pool and bar.
With 12 eateries, including a fish restaurant, noodle bar and Japanese grill, plus the world-famous underwater restaurant Ithaa, there is no shortage of places to dine.
Once in Male, head to the complimentary Conrad Lounge at the Sea Plane Terminal to await your exciting transfer to resort. Whilst waiting enjoy a neck massage or a complimentary buffet meal. In the South Ari Atoll, accessed by a 30-minute seaplane flight or a short domestic flight to a nearby island, followed by a speedboat transfer, depending on your flight time. Alternatively, why not arrive by a luxury three-hour yacht charter.
