Victoria Falls River Lodge

Victoria Falls River Lodge is a luxury tented lodge about 10 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls, inside the 60,000 hectare Zambezi National Park. The lodge is spaciously laid out along the banks of the Zambezi River, with uninterrupted panoramic views across the river towards Zambia.

Accommodation is in 12 spacious open-plan air-conditioned tents. Strong on glass, wood and space, with clean lines, Scandinavian floors, hanging chairs, Nguni cushions and hammocks, River Lodge has a modern African feel with a European twist. Tents are tastefully decorated; enjoy a fresh feel in earthy hues with a mix of tree trunks, canvas and light fabrics.

The Victoria Falls River Lodge offers a choice of activities. These include morning and afternoon game drives in the Zambezi National Park, river cruises and birding Kandahar Island, whilst guided walks, canoe trips and fishing trips can be arranged at an additional cost. There is also a scheduled daily transfer into Victoria Falls. An on-site spa offers an array of treatments, including aromatherapy, Swedish massages, Indian head massages and foot massages.

Why we like it

Perfect location to enjoy many of the adventure activities available around Victoria Falls including a helicopter flights over the falls.
