Set in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and only a short distance from Victoria Falls, this elegant river-facing lodge lies on the banks of the Zambezi. Built in a contemporary style, Thorntree River Lodge centres on a beautiful open dining area, with expansive wooden decking that features a cosy sunken boma.
The lodge is home to eight tented twin rooms and two family rooms, all with their own indoor and outdoor bathrooms, as well plunge pools. Glass doors line the rooms on two sides and can be slid all the way back, opening the rooms up. The bed faces the river, with a beautiful wooden deck extending towards the water.
Activities include visits to the Victoria Falls, on-foot rhino trekking, game drives in the park, cultural village visits, sunset rivers cruises and fishing.
