This drink oozes of the same sophistication as the city it originates from. A must when looking to add a touch of something different to a get together with friends.

If one country epitomises variety when it comes to cocktails, it is the States. In New York, and of course Manhattan, it is hard to resist the opportunity to sample this fine cocktail. It is dark, mysterious and most certainly tasty.

Method

  1. Take the whisky and two bitters, add them to a mixing glass and help them to mingle.
  2. Strain into a cooled coupe.
  3. Slide a cherry garnish over the rim of the glass using a cocktail stick.

Recipe Ingredients

Bourbon: 75ml
Sweet vermouth: 15ml
Extra dry vermouth: 15ml
Angostura bitters: Two dashes
