I love to squeeze as much out of my day as possible. An outdoors fanatic, I love to delve into harsh environments having summited numerous mountains and trail running into the unknown whenever I get the chance – whether at home or overseas. Funnily enough, it didn’t start like that. It took a few years for the burning fire of adventure to truly take light with my eyes opened by the adventures travel could afford.

Through my work, I discovered unexpected and unheard-of experiences existed; new places to see, new people, to meet, new food to taste. The travel bug was itching. I have worked in travel for over 10 years and have had the opportunity to explore great swathes of Africa, north and south America and the icy arctic regions to add to my early travel days. The variety of experiences have been endless from haphazard capoeira dancing in Brazil, to kayaking with humpbacks in Canada to herding cattle with the Chagra cowboys of Ecuador. I have had the pleasure of sharing these life-changing experiences with my clients to shape and mould their personal adventures. Nature and wildlife at its rawest remain my biggest prize and passion and the chance to travel to a remote location is an opportunity I grasp with both hands. I yearn for empty space, the privilege and solitude that it brings of being somewhere few others have set foot. Of the chance to be a pioneer in this modern age.

Where Jaguars Roam

Brazil is home to the exquisite jaguars that are increasingly pressured by human and climatic changes. The Oncafari project is one of the leading conservation groups, set in the southern Pantanal partnering with Caiman Ecological Refuge. Travelling by vehicle, I explore the wildlands of the farmlands encountering the armadillos, capybara, macaws and anteaters along the way… along with Felino and Nusa.

British Columbia: My Favourite Place on Earth

Diving back into British Columbia, I am back into the land I love. Mountain peaks shrouded by clouds rise from the blue waters of the Pacific. Teeming with wildlife, Dall’s porpoise can be seen dancing in the wake of our boat as we head out in search of my greatest prize – bears!

A Day in the Amazon Playground

Exploring the treasures of the Yasuni National Park as it strives to hold its place as a precious ecological destination in a world pressured by sourcing fossil fuels. Paddling through the waterways flanked by tangled trees and twisted branches, a sloth can be seen nestled against the trunk. This is natures greenhouse, an abundance of flora and fauna that is being protected by the efforts of these local guides.

My Most Memorable Experiences

Tell us what you love doing and we’ll curate a journey that’s perfect for you.

Zion National Park, Utah, USA

Hiking Angel’s Landing

One of the more arduous hiking routes in Zion National Park. At 38 degrees it was less than enjoyable marching the switch backs in the sunshine. The view from the top however was one of the most sensational I have experienced in the US, looking straight out across the orange rock faces flanking Zion’s valley floor.

Ultima Thule Lodge activity, Wrangell St. Elias National Park

Flying over the Alaska Range

This is when the vast scale of Alaska hit me. Flying what felt like mere meters above the mountain tops and witnessing the blanket of peaks spreading out as far as the eyes could see.

Sea Lions, Galapagos Islands

Sea Lions of the Galapagos

The reality of having sealions come up and play with you is an incredible moment to capture. Encountering wildlife on such an intimate experience when out of your comfort zone really is spine tingling.

Narwhal Flukes, Canada

Sailing in Canada

A journey that may never be beaten. Sailing through the dramatic fjordlands of the Inside Passage and experiencing my first up-close encounter of a grizzly bear, just meters from my boat.
