India Kartikeya is a keen photographer and naturalist. He has worked as a consultant with award-winning BBC series- Natural World and Planet Earth – with over 300 days of filming under his belt. His guiding skills have been nationally recognised with an award given for the Best Lodge Naturalist in 2010.
In the capacity as a researcher, he has written for many publications, as well as eight years of field research including the Earthwatch research team. Specific to Gujarat, he has worked for many years in the field of research and education, monitoring the ecology and biodiversity of both Gir National Park and Little Rann of Kutch.
