The Maldives is a year-round destination, and the best season to visit the Maldives is between November and April. With both low rainfall and humidity, the perfect time to visit is February, perfect for half term sun.
Diving conditions are generally good all year round but can become choppier in May and June. However, June in the Maldives is a great time for those who want to discover more marine life in this Indian Ocean paradise. As it is the beginning of the monsoon season, the huge increase in plankton draws in hundreds of whale sharks and manta rays to the region.
