Blue Maki Catamaran

This 14-metre-long sailing catamaran is based on the island of Nosy Be, available to charter for trips up and down Madagascar's island-dotted north-western coast. It is the ideal base for exploring this beautiful region, with its shallow draught perfect for negotiating the coastal waters.

Provided with its own, experienced crew, this spacious yacht contains four air-conditioned cabins. It is kitted out with an array of modern amenities, including hot water and en-suite facilities. Above deck there is a shaded outdoor lounge for dining and relaxing, as well as forward trampoline that is well-positioned for sunbathing and admiring the views of Madagascar's coastline.

Why we like it

The Blue Maki offers the chance to explore the idyllic archipelagos of north-western Madagascar.  Whilst day trips ashore allow for a dose of culture and wildlife, the yacht itself is equipped with kayaks, snorkelling gear, fishing tackle and a swimming platform, meaning there is plenty to do on and off the water.

Holiday Ideas

The Blue Maki can be chartered for different lengths of time, visiting various areas along the coast. This flexibility means it can also be combined with a number of the island properties in the region.

We recommend, for example, an itinerary that starts with time on the yacht, before finishing at Tsarabanjina: nine days from £5,195 per person, including international flights.
