Located in the heart of the Peloponnese countryside approximately 160 kilometres from Athens, Villa Vager Levidi stands in the centre of the traditional village of Levidi at the foothills of Mount Mainalon with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding fir forests and fields.
The 10 comfortable rooms are all individually decorated and range from a honeymoon suite with a beautifully designed fireplace to a cave suite with exposed stone walls and a truly romantic feel. The rest of the hotel has been decorated using traditional Greek furniture and antiques, some of which belong to the owners who are very hands-on with the running of the hotel and who strive to create a welcoming atmosphere akin to that of a family home.
The hotel also boasts an outdoor hydro pool and spa.
Villa Vager Levidi is an ideal base to explore the ancient sites of Mycenae, Nafplio, Epidaurus, Olympia or Orchomenos. Situated just one and a half hours from Kalamata airport, and 20 minutes away from Tripoli. Located on the highest hill in the village, the hotel has a unique viewpoint, at the centre of the village.
The hotel is discreet and small, but still finds the space to offer an outdoor hydro pool and spa.
Villa Vager Levidi acts as a great base for exploring the local countryside.

Why we like it
This wonderfully hospitable hotel, personally ran by husband and wife team, offers an affordable base from which to explore Arcadia, one of the most beautiful regions in Greece. The homemade Greek breakfast is delicious enjoyed with a backdrop of the fir forests and farmland. This hotel is perfectly combined with its newly opened sister hotel, Villa Vager Mani.
