Activities

Bird watching hikes is usually the primary reason to visit this area. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a stone’s throw from Senda and home to eight different biological zones and thousands of animal, plant and bird species including the Quetzal.

The Sky Tram and hanging bridges of the Sky Walk offers an alternative view from the cloud forest as does the thrilling zipline. Coffee tours can be arranged, with a bean to cup experience, as well as night walks, horseback riding and insightful tours of the Quaker community.
