The luxury sailing yacht MS Fortuna is designed to sleep a maximum of 14 passengers. Her traditional design is complemented by spacious fore, side and aft decks, modern nautical equipment, outdoor dining facilities and cushioned lounging areas.
M/S Fortuna is a lovely example of the Turkish wooden gulet. Owned by a local interior designer, expect stylish interiors and attention to detail throughout.
The elegant interior features seven cabins with air-conditioning, generous storage space and a roomy “en suite” bathroom. The cabin configuration is one Master Cabin and four queen-sized cabins. Two cabins with twin beds. The MS Fortuna is perfect for large families or groups of friends with both couples and singles. The interior has wide corridors and a salon with a stocked bar, seating areas and a table for indoor dining.
A skilled chef, whose expertise ranges from haute cuisine to regional specialities, provides delicious meals during the cruise. Seafood is served Mediterranean style and organically grown fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits of the season ensure the finest flavour.
Swim off the back of the boat, dive, sail, water ski and snorkel in secluded bays. Relax on board with a library of magazines and DVDs. Shore excursions include lively resorts, traditional sleepy villages, authentic local cuisine, sightseeing, shopping, nightlife, and ancient site explorations. Some trips require vehicles, while others are walks or optional hikes. Guides can also be booked or the captain will ably help you explore on your own.
Cruise the Aegean Coast of Bodrum and the Northern Dodecanese Islands onboard M/S Fortuna. The Northern Dodecanese Islands remain fairly remote and most easily accessed by the sea. Without airports, the islands of Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos and smaller islands like Arki and Lipsi, never have the intense tourism as is prevalent in many of the other Greek Islands. The Islands have remained traditional, but also classy. The main tourist in these islands is wealthy Greeks from Athens. These islands are much closer to the Turkish Coast than they are to mainland Greece, thus Turkey has always had a special relationship with these islands.
Each of the islands offers something special – Kalymnos the Fjord of Vathi and the Agios Savvas Monastery, Leros the Medieval Castle and intact old town, Patmos the St. John Monastery which is one of the most important sites of Early Christianity. The resort town of Bodrum is considered the St. Tropez of Turkey – Great shopping, restaurants, nightclubs, the Knights of St. John Medieval Castle and the Mausoleum of Halikarnassos, one of the Seven Wonders of Ancient World.
Air conditioning may run continuously in Turkish ports. Greek ports do not provide enough voltage necessary for air conditioning, so generators are used until midnight. (Harbour regulations forbid generator noise after this time.) For safety reasons, even if the yacht is completely isolated in a cove, the generator cannot be left on for 24 continuous hours, as the engine room must be manned while the generator is in use.

Turkey - Cruise
The early morning balloon trip was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip, but a trip of so many lovely and varied highlights. The wine tasting was such a lovely surprise and what a great region for wines. Thank you for arranging this. We look forward to our next adventure with Steppes!
