Yet another close encounter with a puma at Lapa Rios Lodge on the Osa Peninsula. Both puma and guide, Guillermo, were surprised at the chance encounter on a path that leads from the lodge to the beach. Luckily, Guillermo had his camera to hand and took this amazing footage (see below) of the puma checking him out and then nonchalantly strolling off along the path. This puma has been monitored for a while now and just last year had a
cub.
