Perched on a steep forested hillside overlooking Macal River, Black Rock River Lodge offers a magical setting from which to explore this cooler region of Belize.
There are 20 beautiful eco-cabins dotted around the resort with views across the canyon, waterfall or Macal River.
All cabins have screened windows and offer a private walk-in shower or bathtub, and a small porch area from which to admire the glorious views. Dinner is served family-style in the main lodge and prepared with seasonal organic ingredients sourced locally. Breakfast and lunch options are À La Carte.
Activities include river tubing, canoeing, caving and mountain biking and birding (almost 300 species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded in the local area), and exploring the canyon by horseback.
