Mendoza & Wine Regions

Why visit Mendoza & Wine Regions

Founded in 1561, Mendoza is situated at the foot of the Andes, on the plains of the river Mendoza. Originally dry and arid, the area has been transformed into a green fertile land and is now renowned worldwide for its intense wine cultivation. The city makes a good base for exploring the numerous vineyards and the Andes to the west and has excellent restaurants, museums and some of the finest plazas in the country.
