Water Lovers

Water Lovers is a quaint beach resort on the tropical shores of the Indian Ocean, 35 kilometres south of Mombasa on Kenya’s south coast.

The area is well-known for its white sands and turquoise warm waters, and for water-lovers certainly lives up to its setting.

Accommodation is in six spacious cottages and a self-contained villa. Each cottage has a private veranda overlooking the ocean and is decorated in a style that mixes Swahili culture with the Mediterranean. The beach restaurant serves Mediterranean and local cuisine with the quiet surf of the Indian Ocean just a stone’s throw away. There is a turtle-shaped infinity pool beside the beach.

Activities include kite surfing, windsurfing, diving, snorkelling by the coral reef, big game fishing, tennis, and safaris. A trip to nearby Kisite Marine National Park, noted for its stunning coral gardens and extensive marine life, is recommended, and massages and yoga can be arranged on request.
