Owner Donna Gates is an established artist with the artisan cafe at the lodge displaying a collection of her work along with other local artists.

North Face Lodge is a north-country inn, set amongst native tundra, overlooking the Alaska Range, in the heart of Denali National Park. The Lodge has a great location close to Wonder Lake, an excellent spot for canoeing. It is a comfortable property with a small collection of rooms and a cosy main lodge where you can relax and learn more about the history of this wild landscape. As one of the pioneers to the park, there are specialised activities and guiding options available including searching for wolves, moose, bears and caribou. In addition to guided activities, mountain bikes, canoes and fishing equipment are also available.
